Beadiful June Felt in

Well if you missed this mornings Felt in, I'm sorry but you missed a good one! We all had such fun, Dorothy (Dinsmore) was her usual lovely self. the whole morning was relaxing, informative and fun! It was great to meet a good number of new people, and it was great to welcome some we hadn't seen for a while!

Hard at it, couldn't even look up for a photo! The girls here are busy needle felting the first process in making beads with Dorothy!

Please note the girls in the background, never stopped working even while the next piece of instruction was being given! Impressive and so were the results!

Dorothy had brought a great variety of samples with her, to inspire!

This was the last Felt in before the summer, we start back on 20th September. September's Felt in is an ideal opportunity for all levels of Felt makers, the group will be split in two for beginners and the more advanced and we will be making squares of felt with a difference. Come and learn the basic technique or how to add decoration and embellishment to your felt!! We hope some people will donate their squares so we can join them together into a Friendship Blanket. This will be an ongoing process of making squares and sewing them together into blankets which we are making to raise money and awareness of The Simon Community!

The lucky people who have been quick in getting their applications in for the Nicola Brown workshops will be hearing this week if they have been successful!
Keep checking the blog as we have lots of exciting things planned for the next year, and I'm sure you dont want to miss out!
Have a lovely summer and keep felting!
